About us
How it all began
Accurate Hunts is a family-owned hunting consultancy firm based in the beautiful Southern Highlands of New South Wales, Australia. It all started when Dodge had been travelling around hunting and guiding for several years and was getting asked by clients to organise a trip for them back into Australia. From there, we have grown into what we are today, a one stop shop for hunting trips domestically and internationally, a base for our education courses ‘Accurate hunts - from the beginning’ and Podcast host.

The vision
Our vision is to help others connect with likeminded people through education and shared experience. Dodge and his Wife Mel will stop at nothing to plan and organise your dream hunting trip, taking great care with every detail ensuring a smooth ride from door to door. As a bonus, you will create lifelong friends and memories on your hunt whether it be here in Australia or abroad with one of our hand picked outfitters. Our years of field experience means we know what you should expect and that is what we deliver to you, if not more!
A bit about Dodge
As a first generation hunter, if you told me 15 years ago that I would be doing what I am today, I'd tell you that you're dreaming.
From a mate’s property in Cowra, to back-country British Columbia, Montana and New Zealand. On my journey I have covered some epic country and met so many incredible people. They have shaped me into the person and hunter I am today. Now with 10 years guiding experience, I know for sure that helping others is key to my outdoor happiness. Being involved in creating meaningful memories with family, friends and clients is so rewarding.
Although high quality trophy animals are usually the goal, the time out in the bush, the silence from the outside world and the opportunity to learn from each other is added fuel to the soul. Remember, a shared experience has the ability to enhance each person's individual experience.
